A rossz rendőr is hasznos, főleg ha tejfeles képű. A kopasz osztag tagjai különlegesek: olyan éretlenek, hogy feltűnés nélkül elvegyülhetnek a fiatalkorú bűnözők között. Jenko (Channing Tatum) nem túl eszes, de legalább kemény, társa Schmidt (Jonah Hill) még pufi is. A véletlen úgy hozta, hogy agyatlan módszereikkel valahogy sikerült lebuktatniuk egy középiskolai kábítószer-bandát, így főnökük, Dickson kapitány (Ice Cube) új bevetésre küldi őket. A párosnak ezúttal egy nagyon gyanús főiskolán kell elvegyülniüka hallgatók között, hogy lebuktassák a rosszfiúkat. Ez olyannyira sikerül nekik, hogy Jenko az iskolai focicsapat ünnepelt sztárjává válik, Schmidt pedig egy bohém művésztársulat tagja lesz, emiatt azonban úgy eltávolodnak egymástól, hogy veszélybe kerül küldetésük. A két bevetett, túlkoros gólyának le kell küzdeniük a nem várt nehézségeket, különben nem hogy a barátságuk, de az életük is veszélybe kerül. (InterCom)
