Gook (2017)

angol I thought this was going to be just another wannabe art film, but this is a good film that makes interesting use of the black and white design, which can heighten the emotions in the film. In terms of the acting, it's interesting in that at times you feel it's amateurish, while at other times you are amazed by how good it is.

Viszlát, Christopher Robin (2017)

angol A. A. Milne was an interesting personality and left behind a body of work that will last for generations, probably because it is so different and so special. The film Goodbye Christopher Robin gives an interesting insight into how a work of art can come into being and how it affects the life of its creator and his loved ones. The acting is very good.

Germinal (1993)

angol This film is a very good demonstration of how the French are able to make a historical film and make no bones about it. It's very realistic, it's very dirty and it's pretty damn gritty in places! Germinal is about a French history that certainly wasn't always pretty and found itself in alleys that led nowhere but to bloodshed.

Geo-Disaster (2017)

angol If you know what to expect from films like this, you probably won't be too upset when you get a B-, maybe almost C- spectacle that is very dumb, and even though the poster promises it will be something full of special effects, there are hardly any in there in the end. Of course it's not good, but that's to be expected, and to be honest I wasn't downright disgusted with it.

Hegyek között (2017)

angol I liked the fact that the survival part is not unnecessarily filmed like an action film, but instead it is a rather contemplative film with a slow pace. However, then it came to the finale and I thought that it was actually screwed up, that it was all because of the bad last part, and I think that's a real shame.

Lady Bird (2017)

angol The acting is just good enough to convince you that it is still worth watching films about a girl or a young man becoming a woman or a man. Lady Bird is not always pleasant, but it just shows how challenging growing up is, even more so in a Christian world that is even more strict.

Űrvihar (2017)

angol I was expecting it to be terrible based on the reviews, but it's in fact a pretty normal - and relatively normally stupid - American disaster film where the actual disaster is not really that big of a deal because people are trying to prevent it, not survive it, because it's already happened. I guess I expected it to be more destructive, but I still thought it was alright.

Ferrari: Verseny a halhatatlanságig (2017)

angol When I watch this film, I see that it's actually a memorial to how many people died in racing, and that's just between 1950 and 1960, and only in one kind of race. 39 people is not a small thing. The film presents a nice memory of them, but I had to wonder if they really are immortal, if their names are known by people outside motorsport.

Enter Nowhere (2011)

angol Although I found the unravelling of the connections a bit awkward at times, I have to admit that I enjoyed the film quite a bit and was curious to see how it would all play out. The cast is well-chosen and all the young actors do their best. The anonymous, enclosed space adds a very good atmosphere to it.

England Is Mine (2017)

angol If I’m going to watch a film about a band and its origins, or at least its main member, I would expect to want to listen to the band's songs after watching the film. However, England Is Mine failed to impress me and I have no need to search for The Smiths discography based on it. The only thing that caught my attention is the return to the 80s, which evokes pleasant feelings.
