Az amerikai slasher és az európai giallo figyelemre méltó kombinációja. A színészek alakítása tipikusan abszurd, a film B-kategória szagú, ugyanakkor kreatív forgatókönyvvel lep meg. Több szereplő, mint amit a hasonló alműfajokban megszoktunk, miközben mindegyiküknek helye van a bűnügyi sztoriban, és érdekesebbé teszik azt. A film gyors tempója szintén nagy előny - nincs expozíciós indulás, már az első jelenettől kezdve vadul vagdosnak.

"Mil gritos tiene la noche" is an extremely simple film at first glance, and it truly is. It only benefits from having a crazy killer, a known past, and then just the murders of girls who are not afraid to reveal something of their nudity. Yes, it's simple, but at the same time effective, which I simply have to appreciate. The film doesn't pretend to be anything else, but it manages to captivate the viewer and lead them to a successful ending, which is topped off with a nice final shot.

Oh well. If I had read the reviews here I wouldn’t have watched Pieces because I know very well I’m unable to appreciate this type of horror. It’s not Boo!, but it is garbage, which, at least for me, it’s almost the same.
