500 years after they were blinded and executed for committing human sacrifices, a band of Templar knights returns from the grave to terrorize a rural Portuguese village during its centennial celebration. Being blind, the Templars find their victims through sound, usually the screams of their victims. Bár a filmszéria második filmjéből hiányzik az egyedülállóan sötét hangulat és az átok súlya, amely annyira felemelte a negyedik filmet, a karakterek és tetteik elrendezése elég szórakoztató. A forgatókönyvíró ötlete, hogy egy horda templomos koponyás lovast küldjön egy zárt térre, amely tele van táncoló és szórakozó emberekkel, cool. Az egyes részletekből persze nem hiányoznak a trash-filmkészítés nyomai, de egészében véve van értelme és kiteljesedett koncepciója.

"The Attack of the Blind Dead" doesn't significantly lag behind the first installment, but sometimes it seems to me that it tries too hard to imitate it. However, if you keep coming up with plot twists to make it interesting while maintaining the horror atmosphere, it eventually succeeds, although the film definitely doesn't scare as much as it could. Nevertheless, there are scenes that are disturbing.
