Eleinte eléggé zavart a digitális kép és az alacsony költségvetés. A film kifejezetten kívánt a méltóságteljesebb "kinézetet" és jó szimfonikus, sötét zenét. De ahogy teltek a percek, teljesen kárpótolt a korrekt tempójú forgatókönyv és a kreatív rendezés, illetve a kamera, amely fantasztikusan fokozta a drámát (lásd azt a felvételt, amikor Khaled serpenyővel a kezében a folyosón át a pincébe rohan). Ebben a helyzetben az olcsó digitális kép már nem jelentett hátrányt, ellenkezőleg hozzájárult a film naturalista hitelességéhez. A fiatal színész is dicséretet érdemel, és főleg az EGYEDÜLÁLLÓ téma, amelyen ez a zseniális film alapul.

I don't need to have everything served on a golden platter, but the unfinished ending annoyed me a bit. Still, it is an interesting film, with a strong and original story. I loved the performance of the child actor in the lead role, he is natural for his age and does not overact. I didn’t mind the digital camera, on the contrary, it enhances the authenticity of the story.
