Contemporary Moscow, home to several people who apparently lead a totally carefree life. They have all acquired status in society, and at first sight seem to have everything they desire. But each of them is lacking something, and each has their own intimate secret. Juxtaposed to them is the central character, a free-thinking photographer named Ivan who believes in absolute freedom... An acerbic comedy mélange about people confronting universal issues from a first-time directing duo who employ hyperbole and considerable frankness to address things most of us would rather keep to ourselves. As the young filmmakers themselves say, it’s not your everyday festival film: “We wanted to make an auteur film that wouldn’t bear the typical characteristics of auteur cinema. A film that doesn’t leave you bored, that has a plot, a film without long, meditative shots...“ (Karlovy Vary International Film Festival)

Egy film, amely tudja, hogy a szex a közönség számára egy hálás téma. Fekete humoros betekintés egy olyan csoport intim magánéletébe, akik otthon nem jönnek ki jól egymással, vagy nincs kivel kijönni. A cenzúrabizottság élén egy visszahúzódó nő ül, hibásan működő vibrátorral, a legszebb és legromantikusabb főszereplő pedig teherbe esik egy csávótól, aki helyette egy pasit képzel maga mellett az ágyban. A pszichológiai voyeurizmus érzékeny, és a széles látószögű kamerának köszönhetően filmszerűen nem televíziós kielégítője.

This was the first hit of the festival. It’s about the sexual problems of the current generation and is presented in such a perfectly bittersweet package that I was chilled by my own laughter at times. It has nudity and open sexuality, and yet no perversion. Just people like us, with whom we are of the same age, or soon will be. It’s a sex probe that goes deeper than into a retired porn star's throat. I was so taken by it that I'm willing to forgive the fact that only one of all the stories has a proper ending (and the least interesting one at that). 4 ½.
