Míg egy "normális" film az első 20 perc után elindulna, ez a film 80 perc után véget ér. Lukas Moodysson az érzelmi helyzetek egyszerűségére, őszinteségére és hitelességére épít. És a két színésznőre, akik kiválóak. Tizenhét évesen azonosultam volna az érzékenyen ábrázolt tinédzserproblémákkal, és a film megfogott volna. Ma nem sok érzelmi kilengéssel néztem meg. Talán csak az autóban zajló csókjelenet közvetlensége (ügyesen megerősített zene mellett) tetszett igazán.

Nearly twenty years ago, the film must have been somewhat more surprising, and it had to have a slightly greater impact on the viewer. But nowadays, when any relationship between the same gender seems normal to me, it's more of a feel-good movie about finding a way to mature, which can be achieved in various ways. Two girls used this method.
