Feketevíz (2012) (S02E09)

angol In the ninth episode, the creators really surprised me. I was expecting drumming before the battle, cuts and counting the dead after the fight, but no. When the preparations for the battle were not taking place, there was actually fighting, and despite some extras clearly not paying attention during the instructions and acting comically in the battle scenes, the whole thing worked very well, all complemented nicely by Cersei's monologue to Sansa, and I was satisfied. ()

Valar Morghulis (2012) (S02E10)

angol Solid ending to the second season. The creators have finally managed to bring a plot into Daenerys' storyline, something interesting was finally happening beyond the Wall, and I noticed some interesting events in King's Landing as well. As usual, I greatly enjoyed Lord Varys, Shae always got on my nerves, and the previous episode did please me a bit more. ()

Season 3 (2013) (S03)

angol There were many things I liked about the third season, especially House Lannister. Not a single member of the family annoyed me. I also enjoyed Daenerys’s storyline more, as it wasn’t limited to a long journey from point A to point B this time. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for what was happening beyond the Wall. Excellent scenes too often alternated with boring or weird ones (especially Jon’s actions). What I definitely liked was the final solution of the Stark question, but I was disappointed by the episodes with almost zero plot, a lot of prattle, and virtually no story development. ()

Valar Dohaeris (2013) (S03E01)

angol The first episode of the third season surprised me with the fact that the most interesting events are happening beyond the Wall and with Daenerys, which were places where the plot was stagnant in the previous season. The story in this episode somewhat remains in one place, this time I was a bit disappointed with Tyrion's storyline, from which I expected more after all. ()

Sötét szárnyak, sötét szavak (2013) (S03E02)

angol The second episode follows in the footsteps of the first one, nothing big happens, only less significant matters are happening. I can't even enjoy the clever statements of Tyrion Lannister because he constantly has the desperately unsympathetic Shae attached to him. To make matters worse, another disliked character, Jojen Reed, has been added to me. ()

A büntetés útja (2013) (S03E03)

angol I perceive the third episode as the most successful episode of the third season so far. Edmure Tully's stomach cleaning was entertaining, moving the furniture for the Small Council meeting and Podrick's unexpected success amused me greatly, and furthermore, events in Astapor and beyond the Wall were set in motion. The story had a decent atmosphere and an excellent conclusion this time, so I was finally satisfied. ()

És őrsége most véget ér (2013) (S03E04)

angol I barely had time to praise the previous episode and another top episode came right after. Both parts had a very strong ending, but also an interesting plot and atmosphere, which is not completely common for this series. In both cases, I saw enough action, but the conversations were also of high quality. In the fourth episode, it was specifically the dialogue between Varys and Olenna that stood out, and Varys' revenge extremely amused me. ()

Akit a tűz megcsókolt (2013) (S03E05)

angol The fifth episode wasn't bad at all, but both previous parts were slightly better. Daenerys' storyline was once again without much development and on the sidelines, similarly it turned out with what happened beyond the Wall because this time the creators focused on the Brotherhood, Jaime, and King's Landing. ()

A mászás (2013) (S03E06)

angol The creators decided to spice up the sixth episode with almost no storyline development, which didn't impress me. The events that were important for the further development of the story could easily fit into ten minutes, on the other hand, fans of mountaineering must have enjoyed Ygritte's finale ascent, even though it made me laugh just as much as it did, it was really a very weak moment. At least Malíček's monologue in the end was worth it. ()

A medve és a szűz (2013) (S03E07)

angol If it weren't for the quality ending of the seventh episode, I would rate it only two stars, but for this scene, I had to go up a bit, as the last few minutes were more interesting than the entire rest of the episode. I've seen several parts that were built on conversations and I rated them positively, but they were talking about something. At the moment when the most dramatic passage of the episode is (almost) Shae's monologue about what her status will be after Tyrion's wedding, something is wrong. ()

Második fiak (2013) (S03E08)

angol Finally there has been a change for the better. The eighth episode was once again full of dialogue, but it wasn't boring chatter about nothing and the difference was noticeable right away. Tyrion carried most of the episode this time, it was a joy to watch and listen to him, the creators revived Daenerys's storyline again and my favorite character Ohař could get more screen time. ()

Castamere-i esők (2013) (S03E09)

angol The ninth episode was one of the few really action-packed ones. It seemed like a completely different creative team took over its writing and shooting. This time, there was not a single storyline that didn't offer proper action, and the wedding massacre was just the icing on the cake. ()

Mhysa (2013) (S03E10)

angol The final episode of the third season was weaker than the previous one, mainly for the reasons mentioned by Krub in their comment, with which I fully agree. I would just add that I am not at all interested in Brandon's storyline and I am not looking forward to returning to it in the next series. The final scene with Daenerys strongly reminded me of the situations at the branches of the Czech Post on the days when social benefits are paid out. But not to only criticize, I really enjoy it every time these characters appear on the scene: Ohař, the Lannister family, and Varys, they are the reason behind my rating. ()

Season 4 (2014) (S04)

angol Season 4 brought a number of great moments, but it didn't fix the biggest problem with the entire series – all the blathering. I think the best example is the conversation between Tyrion and Jaime in Episode 8 about bugs and Orson Lannister, just brilliant. All I can say is WHY?? The Wall is partially cloudy, with less interesting scenes still dominating, just like Daenerys' storyline. The Hound and Arya Stark, on the other hand, were excellent throughout. ()

Két kard (2014) (S04E01)

angol The first episode of the fourth season didn't impress me in any way, but it also didn't disappoint, it came with a decent standard. I was mainly intrigued by the conversation between Tywin and Jaime, the adventures of Arya and the Hound, and the new character, Prince Oberyn. I wonder who that cunning guy is who publicly claims to be Daario Naharis and why everyone believes him. ()

Az oroszlán és a rózsa (2014) (S04E02)

angol It is not very clear to me why the second part started with this particular scene. Is it for me to understand that something is wrong with Ramsay Bolton? I already figured that out in the previous season, so...? After that, I had a great time watching Jaime's training with Bronn and especially the royal wedding with a surprise. Only Brandon Stark could wander out of the story. ()

A láncok leverője (2014) (S04E03)

angol The fourth episode was not bad at all, Ohar was my favorite character the whole time, but as time goes on, I enjoy it more and more. I don't even know why watching it reminded me of Terminator 2 and the old cyborg learning new tricks. After a longer journey, Daenerys's storyline gets juicy again and hopefully, things will come alive on The Wall too. ()

Hűség (2014) (S04E04)

angol I rated the episode four stars mainly because of the conversations between Jaime and Bronn and Tyrion and Brienne, because of the final episode, and because of some passages of Daenerys' Lincoln-like campaign. As usual, I was bored with Jon, Brandon's storyline was annoying to me, and the remaining conversations seemed unnecessary. ()

Első ezen a néven (2014) (S04E05)

angol The fifth episode was so unremarkable for me that I have to really think hard to even remember what it was about. I have a feeling that Mr Martin created the character of Brandon Stark just because he had a hunch that a series would be made based on his books, and then this character would constantly annoy me. That was a pretty dirty move on his part. ()

Isten és ember törvénye (2014) (S04E06)

angol Originally, I wanted to rate the sixth episode with three stars because it was full of unnecessary conversations, and there was also unnecessary action during the attack of the Ironborn on Dreadfort. Seriously, what else did this passage serve for, if not as unnecessary filler? The trial and flawless Tyrion convinced me to give it four stars. ()
