angol I think there hasn’t been any film from Spain that has disappointed me yet. Before the Fall is a very atmospheric and raw film that fails to fully exploit its potential. I would love to see a catastrophe movie dealing with the last days of humankind the way this film does in the first thirty minutes, with no hopes of a group of brave American astronauts miraculously saving the world, just a long wait for death. Unfortunately, after half an hour it becomes a weird crime thriller that could easily take place without the impending apocalypse. Yeah, it is tense and atmospheric, too, but the squandered opportunity is still a shame. 6/10 ()
