Hazudozni Amerikában

Simply a great movie. The best thing is if you have zero expectations, know nothing about the movie and after watching it, you are really satisfied. It doesn’t happen every day and the nicer and more pleasant this feeling is. Personally, I don’t understand how it is possible that this film is not more well-known. The central duo Kevin Bacon and Brad Renfro show acting performances so amazing that I enjoyed every line they uttered in the film. Especially Kevin Bacon, whom I got to like instantly in this film and who at the same time probably showed his best performance I’ve ever seen. His character Billy Magica is so perfectly extroverted that his extravagant English will still haunt my dreams half a year later. Brad Renfro portrays the traditional impersonation of “youth forward”, but he’s doing it in such a convincing way that you’re sorry for how it ended for him and that he didn’t get more acting opportunities in his life. When it comes to the story, the whole time you are aware that you are not watching anything innovative, on the other hand, I was eagerly watching every minute, because I knew that the ending would bewitch me with human sincerity and at the same time the most stylish lying in the American way you’ll ever see in a movie.
