After an alien invasion threatens to annihilate the human race, a young girl named Milly (Anne Suzuki) must go back in time, and enlist the reluctant aid of skilled gunman Miyamoto (Takeshi Kaneshiro) to discover and prevent the start of the war. However trouble ensues when the two protagonists are forced to deal with a Japanese mafia boss named Mizoguchi (Goro Kishitani) who is somehow involved in the start of the war, all the while racing to find a way to stop the oncoming destruction. A begyűjtő című film a Terminátor - A halálosztó, A függetlenség napja, E.T. - A földönkívüli, Mátrix és Mission: Impossible 2. filmek bájos keveréke. A filmből nem hiányzik a távolságtartás, és kellemes humor is van benne, de sajnos azokban a pillanatokban is vicces, amikor teljesen komoly szeretne lenni. De nem lehet rá haragudni. Az alkotója olyan, mint egy kisgyerek, aki imádja a nagy amerikai sci-fi akciófilmeket, és most valóra váltotta álmát. Ha tetszett az Equilibrium - Gyilkos nyugalom című film, akkor elégedett leszel.
