Egy bensőségesen bolondos, de szimpatikusan egyedi ötlet, egy viszonylag klasszikus melodrámai klisébe bedolgozva, amely arról szól, hogy a társadalom képtelen elfogadni a másságot. És egy párról, aki közel áll egymáshoz, és küzd azzal a bizonyos falusi korlátozottsággal. A franciák nem félnek semmitől. Ha a rendezőnő/írónő bátorsága a történet váratlan és kellően sokkoló végkifejletére is kiterjedt volna, a film nagyobb nyomot hagyott volna a filmfesztivál színterén. [San Sebastian IFF]
