Milliárdok nyomában - Boasts and Rails (2016) (epizód)

angol Episode eight focused on two main storylines. The first revolves around the informant the Attorney's office managed to place inside Bobby's firm, while the second brings Axelrod's biggest secret to light. Given that it involves 9/11, I'm bracing for some serious drama, witch hunts, or even a bit of lynching in the upcoming episodes.

Milliárdok nyomában - The Punch (2016) (epizód)

angol I enjoyed this episode a bit more than the previous ones. I can't quite put my finger on why, but it might be due to the diversions from the financial world. I loved watching Lara trying to ground her sons in reality and Bobby's explosive outburst at the beginning. These moments added that missing spark I was looking for.

Milliárdok nyomában - The Deal (2016) (epizód)

angol The episode had a unique atmosphere of uncertainty, which fit the tug-of-war over the deal perfectly. I wasn’t bored at all; the back-and-forth was quite entertaining, even though it ultimately boiled down to a classic case of “who's got the bigger one.” Still, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.

Milliárdok nyomában - The Good Life (2016) (epizód)

angol While the ongoing investigation by the Attorney kept things interesting, there was still something missing. The story could have benefited from a faster pace and a bit more excitement — S/M club visits alone don't cut it. The first and third episodes were great, so I’m not sure what went wrong here.

Milliárdok nyomában - Short Squeeze (2016) (epizód)

angol The pace felt sluggish compared to the previous episode. While the plot wasn't uninteresting, it seemed stretched thin. The creators tried to juggle too many storylines, giving each one too little attention, making the episode feel inconsistent. Metallica was a highlight, but it's clear that James Hetfield should stick to music and leave the acting to others.

Milliárdok nyomában - YumTime (2016) (epizód)

angol Alongside Paul Giamatti's stellar performance, Malin Akerman really stood out. I only knew her from a few average comedies, but her portrayal of Lara as a perfectly cold-hearted bitch was fantastic. The story had great pacing this time, and I was thoroughly entertained.

Milliárdok nyomában - Naming Rights (2016) (epizód)

angol The second episode didn't quite hit the mark for me. The story's pace seemed to slow down, and the level of intrigue wasn't as high as I had hoped. Thankfully, Mr. Hall's devious backstage maneuvers kept things interesting on that front. While Damian Lewis is one of my favorite actors, I have to admit that Paul Giamatti's portrayal of Chuck Rhoades makes his character even more compelling.

Milliárdok nyomában - Pilot (2016) (epizód)

angol After watching the pilot episode, I knew I was in for a treat. This show set in the world of high finance is definitely up my alley. I'm thoroughly impressed with the cast and the storyline, and I'm eagerly anticipating a hefty dose of intrigue. I've always enjoyed stories without traditional heroes, and it looks like this one will have very few, if any.

Doc Martin - Nincs nyugalom (2009) (epizód)

angol This episode didn’t really do it for me. The plot felt bland, and even Louisa's return didn’t add much. The issues with the school caretaker and Pauline's uncle seemed way over the top. This episode ranks among the weakest in the series for me. Hopefully, the next one will be better.

Az utolsó királyság - Season 2 (2017) (évad)

angol I was very surprised by how well Season 2 turned out. After all, I expected it to go down in quality compared to the first one, but I was wrong. Again, I got excellent atmosphere, the Middle Ages simply radiated from the screen, and action wasn’t scarce. Either I got used to the low budget or it wasn’t as obvious as in the previous season. The story nicely followed up on the previous events, and it wasn’t boring. I was also pleased with the new characters who added even more intrigue to the plot. Most importantly, you could see the honest work behind everything. Not everything has to be filled with CGI. I look forward to the third season in joyful anticipation.
