Ari Folman

Ari Folman (b. 1962, Haifa, Israel) is one of Israel’s most distinctive and most highly awarded directors. After completing his military service in the mid-1980s, he went off on his travels. After his return he studied film, debuting with the feature-length documentary Comfortably Numb (1991). He continues to film television documentaries and series.
