Danis Tanović

Danis Tanović (b. 1969, Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina) studied intermedia directing at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Sarajevo, where he spent the first two war years as the head of the documentary film archive. His journalistic reports earned international fame. In 1995–1997, he studied directing in Brussels, where he shot several documentary films.
