She opened her door to... a nightmare Jill Cowper (Judy Morris) is the wife of a University doctor (Robert Coleby). One morning there is an unexpected knock at the door and she opens it to reveal a man who says he's the plumber. So begins five days of mental torment that will change her life. To Jill's disbelief, the simple plumbing job turns into a major overhaul, and in no time the slightly unbalanced tradesman (Ivar Kants) has torn up her entire bathroom, and her sense of security as well. Worse, he seems to be playing psychological intimidation and domination games with her. Peter Weir's The Plumber will scare you... challenge you... and disturb you. (Umbrella Entertainment)

angol Well it is clear, Weir’s Australian period is not for me. What attracted my to Plumber was the genre categorisation, which is pretty misleading. I waited all the time for the titular plumber to stab someone with a pipe, but nothing... Some parts were quite fun, other parts made me yawn. An average TV movie. ()
