angol One of my favourite Czechoslovak fairytales, which once again shows the world the great actors of our small country. In particular, the "Oscar-worthy" Vladimír Menšík in a bear disguise is really worth seeing. ()

angol "Waking up princesses is one of my favorite fairy tales, the weakest aspect of the movie is the casting of the princess. However, I am satisfied with everything else. The main characters do not fare well, Marie Horáková is very unremarkable and Jana Hrušínský is completely overshadowed by Vladimír Menšík, his servant Matěj is clearly the most prominent character here, even outshining Jana Kraus, despite his prince Jiří being endowed with steel nerves, iron muscles, and the agility of a leopard."
