Directed in 1989 by William Olsen (Southern Belles, Getting It On, The Haunted Palace), this is a religious, coming-of-age teen-comedy. This film stars Renée Coleman as September, the perfect student (full of brains and beauty). Her favorite subject is an attractive, “hip” Catholic priest (Sam Bottoms) professor, who is asked by his monsignor to defend their faith on "The Dick Cavett Show." While preparing for his appearance, however, Bottoms begins having doubts about his religious commitment, especially because his shapely, atheist student has begun to seduce him. Oddly enough, the story is paralleled with a series of flashbacks to the Stone Age, as a caveman leader tries to make sense of a mystical tree trunk. (forgalmazó hivatalos szövege)
