Haunted by the ghosts of a terrible past she has tried to forget, Carmen sees herself forced to return from exile when she finds out her father is about to die. At first, her return to Buenos Aires, doesn’t seem to move her - Carmen has survived at the expense of building an insurmountable armor and seems only capable of feeling something indirectly, projecting herself on the erotic desire of others.
