All these men and a few women have managed to create a horror romp that isn't as scary as one would hope, but some scenes are entertaining, and it's all filmed in the spirit of a Shakespearean comedy, albeit without quite as memorable dialogue. Jacques Tourneur, however, demonstrated that the genre truly suits him, but he is capable of adding spice to it that makes the film unique, multi-genre, and interesting.
