A majmok bolygója III. - A menekülés

Thoughtwise, the third part of the monkey saga corresponds much more to the novel template than the second part, and although the writer was clearly a little tired and squeezed out everything from the subject, my overall rating comes out as a weak three stars and 50% overall impression. The following two parts of the saga clearly led the whole theme into a pit. (2008.04.18)

A better sequel to the original film than Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, especially since this has some at least slightly original ideas and (at least at first glance) doesn't just benefit from something that someone else did right the first time. Admittedly, in Escape from the Planet of the Apes, it is as if two films come together - a dissolute visit to the monkey-nauts in our world and a later dramatic hunt for them, but it didn't seem to me that the two stories contradicted each other much. When people were exposed to a world where apes rule, why couldn't intelligent apes be exposed to a world where humans still rule? This is probably what the creators said to themselves and they took it upon themselves to make the third film in the "Planet of the Apes" series. It is interesting at first glance, but on the second glance, it is very unassuming and does not really develop the mythology in any way, it just shows that the more we handle things, the more we also lose them, which was already eloquently said in the brilliant first film.
