Arrivals and Departures (S01E08)

The last two episodes that wrapped up the first season were, for me, the best ones, although I'd say the final episode was slightly weaker. This time around, the plot took a noticeably less comedic turn; God once again appeared from the machine, and there was some melodrama as well. While it fell flat on me, I definitely sensed its presence. I also couldn't ignore the sudden drop in efficiency of our previously one hundred percent professional hired assassin/psychopath, whose work was a hobby. / Lesson learned: Always shoot at extremely dangerous targets repeatedly. 3*+ (2023.09.10)
