HameFura is still just as entertaining because Bakarina is still just as clueless... On the one hand, I miss the main female protagonist being fearful about what she is doing, because she is supposed to be a villainess after all, and the storylines in this second season seem kind of one and the same (both of the main storylines are basically about kidnapping). On the other hand, I found it still manages to be quite entertaining and for every episode with the main female protagonist, who unknowingly managed to win the hearts of many, and even if someone confesses his love for her, she just seems to forget about it after five minutes and gets on with her own thing, I looked forward to it every time. I am also equally curious to see what Fortune Lover II: Love at the Magical Ministry is going to bring (however, I guess we all know what to expect). You simply cannot stay angry at this anime series, because of how cute, funny, and sometimes a bit silly it is. I was able to let a lot slide, and so far I am still not tired of its atmosphere. I was also pleased with the use of Ode to Joy in the opening, which worked great because it managed to get me in the right mood. Personally speaking, I found there is not much to find fault with, I still quite like this anime series, and I also (like many) have a soft spot for Katarina... 7.5/10. (2021.09.18)
