Samantha Hamilton, gorgeous African American emerging filmmaker, is looking for love at this speed dating event because she paid her money and can’t get it back. Colin Rudd, handsome African American investment banker at Goldman Sachs, is ready to find a connection so he can roll up on high profile “camera op” events and perhaps up his profile. Their paths cross at the end of a whirlwind event that has both their heads and hearts spinning; however the spinning grinds to a halt when Colin reveals to Samantha that he won’t date her because she’s Black. Their meeting has them both discovering deep wounds too difficult to heal alone, and in 15 minutes, their lives are changed forever. (Pan African Film Festival)
