Bart gyerekkora óta rajong a fegyverekért, különös hobbija miatt ezért intézetben nevelkedik fel. A hadsereg számára igazi élvezet, leszerelése után azonban fogalma sincs, hogy mit kezdjen magával. Barátai egyik este magával viszik egy cirkuszba, ahol megismerkedik Annievel, a gyönyörű céllövőnővel. A két fegyverbolond azonnal egymásba szeret, összeházasodnak, Annie azonban boldogtalan anyagi helyzetük miatt. Bart, hogy kedvezzen feleségének, rablást tervel ki. Az akció azonban több áldozatot is követel, a szerelmespárnak ezért menekülnie kell. (MTV)

Penn's take on Bonnie and Clyde is looked down on, but otherwise it's a quality noir that would make hirnlego very happy, because the woman is the origin of all evil: o) What sets this likeable low-budget piece apart from the work of the time are the innovative elements used – in particular, the camera view from the backseat of a car, capturing the bank robberies live, absolutely blew me away, a previously unused idea that will do your taste buds good.

If it were filmed in today's time, it might be even better in the sense that it would be more intense, which wouldn't bother the movie at all. On the other hand, it is sometimes quite intense even for its time, which should be credited to its advantage. In addition, the lead actress is simply mesmerizing, both in her acting and in her appearance. It's a film that is clear from the start that it cannot end well. It's just a pity that there are too many variations on Bonnie and Clyde.
