Lucky Cisco Kid

In this fourth "Cisco Kid" movie, Romero replaces Warner Baxter in the role as the Kid, with Martin as his trusty sidekick. The pair investigate an impostor and his gang who are rustling cattle under the Kid's name. Hughes is the dance hall girl-cum-love-interest, and Venable is the widow he finally falls for. Though the story is all formula and action, Romero is appropriately suave and debonair in the role. The film is directed at a fast pace, making this an exciting and above average picture.
