Time to Eat with Nadiya

While I enjoy Nadiya's enthusiasm for cooking and her use of shortcuts, I'm honestly not a fan of what she does in the kitchen. Not that I take any particular issue with processed food, but camouflaging it in food that is supposed to look fresh and healthy goes a bit against the grain. I just like proper, real cooking with fresh ingredients. And of course I usually want it to be one and done too, but pasta from a can is just too much for me. Plus, I didn't enjoy the parts where she went to factories to see how what was made. In the end, it was the same everywhere. Likewise, the stories of people whose lives were supposedly "changed" by one recipe seemed far-fetched to me. Good as background, but I wouldn't take it too seriously. (2021.08.16)
