One Pasadena, Calif. house serves as the focal point for three decades worth of marital strife. Initially, I was worried about the frequent shifts between timelines, but it actually adds to the story's pacing rather than detracting from it. It's obvious that men won't be the good guys here and the cast is properly multicultural but it doesn't bother me. Overall, I had a good time.
