Mačikado mazoku - Season 1

For me personally this was the most likable (which does not equal the best) show of anime season Summer 2019! I have to admit that I started to grow to love this show even though it took a while for me to fully come around to Shamiko and co. There is a lot of fast talking, so I had to concentrate a lot to keep up, and some of the jokes are a bit puerile and repetitive at times... However, the more I watched it, the better the impression I got of it all was, the more the characters got under my skin, and the funnier I found it. In other words, it matured slowly, like a fine wine, and the last (but not only) episode left me with a blissfully warm feeling and slightly amused smile. I have to praise the originality of the characters, the interesting approach to the magical girl subgenre - in other words, the resulting feeling of it all is very pleasant. Nice and cute 7.6/10.
