This is probably the best and certainly the most famous film by Michaela Pavlátová, which served as a launching pad for her later live-action works. It is one of the few exceptions when both critics and the widest audience agreed and appreciated the freshness and originality of this short film. The film won at the festival in Stuttgart and received several other popular and professional awards at festivals all over the world, eventually even being considered for an Oscar. Human speech is allegorically depicted in various symbols to express the emotions of visitors at a café. Love, eroticism, gossip, everything has a specific visual expression, and if it weren't for the art style that doesn't appeal to me, I would without hesitation give it the highest possible rating for the idea and execution. Overall impression: 85%.

The theme of interpersonal relationships and communication is imaginatively and humorously handled. Just that towards the end, a smile freezes on one's lips, as it is simultaneously truthful. Even the dog got sick of it. (85%)
