Season 5 initially rebooted the entire inner world of the show, with characters coming/going like clockwork, but in the end, all the confusion turned out to make sense for Ally and her future. For a time she even found a classic family life with her daughter and partner. However, in spite of all the questions, wishes, loves, illusions and desires, in the end, it turned out that only Barry White is immortal and everything else is simply ephemeral. "You Are The First, My Last, My Everything."
