If you ask Frida, it was her choice to become the class outsider. At any rate, the other kids at school agree – Frida is totally different. Marius is in the same year of school as Frida and does pretty much everything he can to be a success. When the two are paired up as study buddies, Marius sees it as yet another opportunity to show everyone what a great guy he is. But Frida has no intention of being helped or “fixed” by the class golden boy. Their study sessions become the catalyst for a turbulent relationship. Yet in his fights with Frida, Marius also experiences something exciting, challenging, and completely new. (Zlín Film Festival)

The Norwegian teen drama Psychobitch is indeed an accurate probe into the lives of today's teenagers struggling with great emotional and social and psychological immaturity. I have to say that I've probably never seen a romance this accurate and, at some points, so disgusting. But even though at first glance it comes across unpleasant and even repulsive, it still has its irresistible charm, which is fully manifested in the last minutes of the film. (85%)

A very well made Norwegian film. The main characters embody opposites that are attracted to each other in spite of everything. A film about a strange relationship between strange people with even stranger scenes. The film was an emotional roller coaster for me, because it's impossible not to be depressed by the way the characters behave and what they do. And despite all that, the story is hugely interesting, engaging and still surprising. I'm very glad I saw the film because it's really worth it! The songs by Emir and Sigrid are just the icing on the cake.

A fresh Norwegian beauty and one of the best cool coming of age romances! An unconventional film set in a school about a very cool and likeable, the class valedictorian, who gets assigned to be in a group with the class outsider, who is a bit of a "psychobitch". What follows is a relationship so charged with emotion and chemistry that I was wiping tears everywhere. A beautiful, cold, strange, powerful and emotional drama that hit me in a decent way. Story****, Action>No, Humor**, Violence>No, Entertainment****, Music****, Visuals***, Atmosphere****, Suspense*. 8.5/10.
