Brutal is a Japanese production that is clearly aimed at lovers of hardcore exploitation movies, with the added bonus that they may see things previously unseen. This movie includes some quite surprising scenes, some pleasantly so and others unpleasantly. I guess it depends on your point of view. It is definitely not a movie for the faint of heart. However, I probably would have liked it more if a few shots were from a distance greater than the length of an outstretched arm.
