Vietnam, az 1980-as évek végén. A 12 éves kisfiú, Thieu és az öccse Tuong mindent együtt csinálnak. Napjaik tele ártatlansággal, csodával, zavarodottsággal és kíváncsi kalandokkal telnek. Tuong bálványozza a bátyját, és folyamatosan igyekszik megfelelni neki. Valójában Thieu a túlzott „önbizalmával" palástolja nyomasztó bizonytalanságát. I finally came across a truly beautiful Vietnamese movie. At the same time, it is very modest and quiet and lets the children, and especially the camera, which offers beautiful shots that take your breath away, speak for themselves. It proves that Vietnam is a beautiful country, but one extremely difficult to live in. However, it is through the children that it tells a very simple story that is more of a way of life than an attempt at a deeper analysis of the environment. If you accept all of that, you will surely enjoy the movie. But count on your heart rate going down during the movie. If you accept the form, you have to be satisfied. I have to admit that Vietnam really surprised me with this movie.
