Németország, 1957. A hesseni főügyész, a zsidó és szociáldemokrata Fritz Bauer fontos információkat kap Adolf Eichmann tartózkodási helyéről, arról, hogy a keresett háborús bűnös Argentínában bujkál. Bauer megpróbál szövetségi szinten pert indítani ellene. A munkahelyén azonban teljesen magára marad, a kollégái semmiben nem támogatják elképzelését. Mindezt érzékelve Bauer már nem bízik a német igazságszolgáltatásban, ezért kapcsolatba lép az izraeli titkosszolgálattal, a Moszaddal. (Cinemax)

Fritz Bauer was way too intense. I know he meant well and wanted to take revenge on the monsters of what was then Germany. But somehow, he intruded into the work of Mossad and he didn’t quite understand that there are more important things and people in life than him. It could have been an interesting film, but Fritz’s story is bit too forced and superfluous. The movies which show Adolf Eichmann with all his mind processes are far more interesting. Compared to this, the story of Fritz Bauer is quite boring.
