What is the future of education in a networked world? Indian professor and TED Prize-winner Sugata Mitra calls for a revolution in how and what we learn. With a global network of information a few clicks away, he argues that the Victorian model on which our school systems are based is obsolete. The professor has conceived and tested a system that can give children in developing countries access to quality education. The best teachers and schools are not where the need for them is greatest. The documentary follows his three-year project in which Mitra installs unmanned internet kiosks in a remote village in West Bengal, where some of the children have never had access to the internet, and in England, where children are already digital natives. It turns out that for both groups, being able to self-organize their learning can change everything. A portrait of Professor Mitra, whose optimism is infectious and whose idea can potentially create positive change for millions of children. (Warsaw Film Festival)
