The last day in the relationship of a young couple. Ernesto escapes from the imminent ending avoiding the meeting no matter what. He takes refuge in reading and there is a parallelism between the end of the book and the end of their relationship. Reality and fiction mix expressing the inner conflict of the protagonist.
