A 17 éves Antonio nagy álma, hogy egy nagyszerű csapatban focizhasson. Egy kis campaniai faluban él, olyan helyen, ahonnan nem könnyű kitörni. A helyzetet még bonyolultabbá teszi a kedves és szelíd, de problémás anyja, akit Antonio mindenkinél jobban szeret. Az apja, Carlo viszont elhagyta őket, amikor még Antonio nagyon fiatal volt, ám Miriam még nem tett le arról, hogy újra egy család legyenek. Football is not as important to the plot as it may seem from the annotation of this film. The most significant aspect is the relationship between seventeen-year-old Antonia and his emotionally unstable mother Miriam, who clings obsessively to her former partner, which ultimately proves fatal for her. The protagonist grows up prematurely because of having to care for her, but even that doesn't help to save her from herself. Anna Foglietta's breathtaking performance as Miriam adds a certain touch of rawness to the whole story. (75%)
