The Canadian production Holy Hell banked on the fact that people like B-movies. Those people want to see gory violence. However, unfortunately, a lot depends on how such a movie is filmed, and unfortunately Holy Hell is filmed very badly indeed. The main character is useless, and when it comes to the bad guys, it is a tragedy as they are not interesting at all, and as they are just plain weird, I just could not get on with this movie at all.
