The crew of The Why expedition sails the legendary sea route, the Northwest Passage, to find evidence of fluorescent minerals and organisms living under the surface of the North Pole. The discovery of natural fluorescence was a revolutionary breakthrough in biology and other technical fields of science. It had previously never been observed in Arctic waters. Thanks to an experienced team of documentary filmmakers, we dive together with Ghislain and Emmanuelle Bardout into the vast depths of the Arctic Ocean and discover an untouched ecosystem.
