How to cross a border is an overview through various motives for someone to leave everything and press their luck in unknown lands. On one hand, a wealthy gringo lives in Mexico City. On another, a Mexican in a difficult economic situation is decided to cross into the United States without a visa. Through their journey they will form a relationship that will take them to intellectual spheres and emotional situations they never expected to explore. (Monterrey International Film Festival)
