Kjóka Recuden: Šúmei tobaku

Takaji is a roving gambler who ran a local yakuza gang: the Taihei family. Chased by the Taihei goons, he finds shelter at a public bath where a young geisha girl protects him. Her name was Shima (Chieko Matsubara). Over time, they fall in love with each other, but Shima is engaged to a yakuza named Shukichi. Trapped in an illl-fated love triangle, Shima must choose between true love and honor. (Nikkatsu)
