Boží mlýny

During 1945-1955 the cultural landscape of Böhmerwald changed into a death zone. The film is a reconstruction of the "Iron Curtain" creation, a documentation of persons murdered by the Border guard and an analysis of so far unknown facts: there were 1800 soldiers that fled accross the border. The film presents the monologues of the last living generation of Czech Germans who remember their original lives in their homes, and it uses 3D animation reconstructing the forgotten face of Böhmerwald.
