A kis Vincenzo Cortino úszva teszi meg az utat Szicíliától New Yorkig. Vincenzo (Lloyd Bridges) karrierje aztán gyorsan ível felfelé: hamarosan az egyik legbefolyásosabb maffia-család keresztapja lesz. Történetünk idején azonban már csökkenni látszik a befolyása - csakúgy, mint eddig sem túlságosan magas IQ-ja. Az öreg Vincenzo tehát átadja kisebbik fiának, a hasonlóan bárgyú Tonynak (Jay Mohr) a keresztapaságot, és ezzel megkezdődik a kegyetlenül lökött leszámolások ideje. (MTVA)

Another wacky and self-indulgent parody, this time focusing on famous mafia gems mostly by Coppola and Scorsese. Although my review may not make it look so, I had a very good time. Most of the jokes and references were really good, but they were part of a completely chaotic script that turned into short sketches and parodies of famous scenes rather than a meaningful story. And since Abrahams is also behind gems like The Naked Gun and Hot Shots, I'm not going to forgive him and I will keep the fourth star for myself. 70%

A decent parody of The Godfather. Some of the gags are really good in places, sometimes it's average and sometimes it's weak. Anyway, it's more of a not-quite-famous affair that falls short of classic parodies like Hot Shots, although it does make a noticeable effort at times.
