angol The Italian movie Little Necro Red contains mainly English dialogue, and there are hardly any Italian features in it. However, that does not really matter because the location is irrelevant in this type of movie. After all, the most important thing is that it is a gnarly well-produced movie with tons of revolting gore, and therefore Little Necro Red cannot disappoint the viewer. On the contrary, it manages to be quite thrilling, and even if you have seen enough disgusting movies, there are still some surprising scenes that are the main appeal of this particular movie. ()

angol Italian butcher Giulio De Santi has made another gorefest for a fringe audience, but unfortunately it doesn't even come close to his top creation Hotel Inferno 2. Whereas Hotel Inferno 2 had a great atmosphere, perfect setting, cool lines, wonderful music, references to maybe 20 years of games maybe, great first person cinematography, never ending carnage that didn't deal with unnecessary dialogue and great gore, all that's left here is the gore and even that is unfortunately too overdone. The film tries to have a plot that is just weird, it makes no sense, nobody cares about it, and I had absolutely no idea what it was about. There is no main character and a lot of time is spent in a kitchen with two women drinking, smoking and cooking eggs; I really don't care for that in splatter and as the sight of two non-actors is downright painful – it was a tedious ordeal in places. It bothered me that there is more talking than cutting and even when there is cutting there are two characters doing it whom I know nothing about, and mostly all the gore scenes focus on the head (brain, eyes, teeth), and when you see that twenty times it feels repetitive and uninteresting. I was also bothered by the fact that they use no weapons, here all it takes is someone's hand to rip someone's heart out of their body, so there are no ideas. The humour is also lacking and the make-up effects are eager, but what good is it when you spend more than half the film listening to lame dialogue, watching annoying actors, and visually the film is probably even cheaper than Hotel Inferno. 4/10.
