The Darkest

The French horror film The Darkest wants to appear like it has an intimate environment and simplicity. It builds atmosphere in a way that sort of offers itself, but at the same time should be functional. I can't help it though, watching this film simply didn't do anything for me. There are no moments here that are really worthwhile. It's sort of a concoction of the known and the seen. The short runtime definitely helps. (2019.01.21)
