2095. A Földet ökológiai katasztrófa pusztította, az óceánok szintje megemelkedett, a természetes édesvíz eltűnt. Fang Rung, a dán titkosszolgálat vezetője visszaküldi az időben az alteregóját, kódnevén Gordon Thomast 2017-be. Feladata megtalálni a tudós Mona Lindskvistet, akinek a kutatása elveszett, mielőtt megmenthette volna a Földet. Not very simple Danish civil sci-fi about time travel that you need to watch carefully and hope that you don’t miss anything. Otherwise, you’ll get lost in the story and the finale will be pointless for you. I definitely appreciate the idea, but the problem is that even though the movie is relatively short, it is sometimes quite boring thanks to its depressive mood and it doesn’t make concentrating easy for the viewer. However, the ending salvaged it, thankfully.

The whole time, I couldn't shake the feeling that the Scandinavians opted for a co-production so that each state could spend as little money as possible. And paradoxically, it benefited the whole venture (in my opinion). The creators ditched all expensive special effects and focused on the story instead; I was surprised by what came out of it after a rather uninteresting beginning. I turned a blind eye to a few lapses in logic, and the well-written story led me to a pretty powerful conclusion. It was definitely not a waste of time, I wasn't bored.
