When a bored young woman in a sleepy country town receives a series of photographs of visciously murdered women, the Police can’t tell whether they are real or staged. There are no bodies or any evidence to match these “crimes”. Are they the work of deranged mind or of a serial killer? When The Girl in the Photographs takes a turn and starts to become just another massacre, it honestly gets quite dull because it's just another slasher that doesn't bring anything different or unexpected to the table. The final photo is quite nice, but waiting for it throughout the entire movie doesn't seem like a proportionately worthwhile use of one’s time. It's a shame because this could have been something along the lines of Italian giallo.
