Nevod

A young man arrives in a fishing village on the shores of the White Sea. He is looking for a girl who fled the city without saying goodbye. One of the village's old-timers is tasked with serving as his guide. The young man thinks they won't have to search for long. The old man has a different idea: he won't let his only granddaughter go to anyone unworthy. He drags the young man ever further into the tundra, and it's no place for wimps. He seeks to teach him a lesson and make a real man out of him according to his own standards. (Warsaw Film Festival)
