One of the most modern films with Anny Ondra. She plays Anita Limann, a businesswoman who flies a plane, drives a car, and also fights the competition with the help of many interesting costumes. Her partner is Mathias Wieman, just like he was in Das verliebte Hotel or Little Dorrit. It’s a classic quality Ondra/Lamač production, overseen by Max Schmeling from his position as Anny’s husband. There is no reason to look for any allegory here, even considering the year it was made. Back then, it was still perfectly fine to respond to, for example, Laurel and Hardy's comedy in an original female performance. DRINK LIMAN-KARDING COFFEE!
